Why should I use Global Nomadic?

There are many websites out there which advertise volunteer projects, adding huge commissions to the price of the project of which very little of the money goes back to helping the cause you are willing to work for. Global Nomadic adds ZERO commission to the price of the projects, and puts you directly in touch with who you will be working with.

We seek to be a transparent and honest middle man.

Global Nomadic specializes in career-building projects, for those looking to actually make a difference to their chosen field of expertise. Our Careership projects are designed to get you a foot in the door to the industry you are pursuing, whilst having fun at the same time.

Why should I have to pay to volunteer?

Whilst it seems quite wrong to have to pay to work, it all depends upon what you are working for. If you are taking a job to pay the rent, then obviously you wouldn't be paying to work! But if you are looking to gain experience in an interesting field, then sometimes you must pay for the privilidge. If you were to simply apply to get paid to do the same job, you might find it very difficult to get accepted and it may take many months to sort out.

Also, volunteers and interns who pay to do these jobs provide a very much needed income and services to the NGO, often allowing them to continue and expand their work. You will become an invaluable asset to the NGO during your time there, and you are in a much stronger position to actually get paid to do a similar job after you finish.
